Me & Also Me got so avant-garde that they literally teleported into the future.

This is the predicament that they find themselves in, as they report live from the safety of the last habitable neighborhood on Earth. But fear not! These avant-gardeners, although unwilling to renounce their own anachronistic habits, have an undying commitment to transmit the zeitgeist of the future back to us.

What is avant-garde in a time when the present has collapsed? What does time mean when yesterday is a post, today is a production and tomorrow is content? If you exaggerate enough, the truth, or a *Spoiler Alert* Chad BDSM cenobite-styled Sphynx Feline Deity, might reveal itself. This is the present moment on crack, which might be post-relevant. Will cultural commentators ever stop cooking up speculative futures?

POSTPOSTPOST is a brand and art movement that produces films, publications and fashion on the edges of the cultural vanguard. Its inaugural 2023 publication, POSTPOSTPOST: Reflections on a New Avant-garde, is home to theoretical scholarship, cultural commentary, and niche content by over 30 artists, writers, and academics, including co-editor Ruba Al-Sweel, Shumon Basar, Jack Self, Isabel Millar, and Ana Viktoria Dzinic.

Al Hassan Elwan is an interdisciplinary designer, brand consultant and Creative Director, born in Cairo, Egypt. They are now based in Los Angeles, where they completed a postgraduate degree in architecture with a focus on media studies from SCI-Arc in 2022. Al is the founder of POSTPOSTPOST™, a brand that produces films, publications, and fashion on the edges of the cultural vanguard while simultaneously building an art movement. POSTPOSTPOST™ has garnered a following on Instagram by posting contemporary cultural commentary, niche content, and avant-garde theory in the format of memes.
